Long Memorial hosts a Girl Scout Brownie troop, which meets on alternate Wednesdays at 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Scout Room on the third floor of the church. The Brownie level of Girl Scouts includes girls in 2nd and 3rd grades. As they develop new friendships, Brownies explore personal interests and learn new skills by earning badges, engage in the community through simple service projects, support their troop and the national Girl Scout program by selling cookies, and experience interesting places through occasional outings.
