The Conference Council on Youth Ministries (CCYM) is made up of about 70 youth from all over the NC Conference, with representatives of every District, as well as the Officers, CYC, and District Youth Coordinators. This group meets twice each school year and oversees all youth ministry in the North Carolina Conference. They are elected through District Caucuses during Summer Breakaway for the upcoming year.
Out of 8 positions representing the Corridor District, voted on by their peers at Breakaway in June, 5 of those are held by Long Memorial United Methodist Church youth group members. We are super proud of our amazingly involved youth who are incredible leaders already in our church.
